Questions from Artists — and Our Honest Answers
Q. Will you upload my music without permission?
A. Never. We only feature music after getting explicit permission from the artist. We never upload anything without direct confirmation via DM or email.
Q. Who owns the copyright?
A. You do — 100%. KIEOTO does not claim any rights to your music. All we ask is permission to feature it on the site. If you ever want it removed, just contact us and we’ll take care of it quickly.
Q. Can people download or steal my track?
A. Technically, yes — it’s impossible to block 100% of illegal access. But KIEOTO limits each track to 3 plays and disables downloads. It’s designed for listeners who want to truly engage with your music. Still, we know risks exist. We’re trusting that good listeners are out there — and we’re building this for them.
Q. Is this site professionally managed?
A. Honestly, no. KIEOTO is a personal project built and maintained by a single indie creator (while working a full-time job). There may be bugs or rough edges — but we’ll always respond sincerely and fix things as needed.
Q. Do you collect personal info like real names or addresses?
A. No. We don’t collect or store any personal information like real names, addresses, or phone numbers. We only show your artist name, track title, descriptions, and media — and only after you’ve approved it.

Our Philosophy
KIEOTO isn’t a big platform. It’s a small, intentional space to slow down music listening — on purpose.
We believe that music deserves full attention. That’s why we limit playback and avoid algorithms.
